The adoption process begins by submitting an application (located below). We will respond within 24 - 48 hours. Once approved, we will set up a time for you to meet the dog or puppy for which you are applying and talk more about adoption.

Our adoption fee for puppies up to a year old is $200, which covers vet visits, dewormer, age appropriate shots, spay/neuter and microchip. If puppies are unable to be spay/neutered prior to adoption, the adoption fee is $125 PLUS a $60 spay/neuter deposit that will be returned to you upon vet documentation that the sterilization was completed. The additional $15 discount goes towards a microchip which is typically done during the sterilization surgery.

The mother of a litter of puppies will be fully vetted prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $150.

Adult (1-5 years) dogs' adoption fee is $150-200 depending on veterinary care necessary to get them as healthy as possible prior to adoption. They will be heartworm tested, given all vaccinations, microchipped and spay/neutered.

Senior (over 5 years) dogs' adoption fees are $125.

At any point, a dog's adoption fee may be lowered due to being SPONSORED!

Dog Adoption Application

Applications will be reviewed within 24-48 hours.

Have you submitted an application for a dog with another organization at this time?

What pets due you currently own?

What kind of home do you live in?

Are you aware that Crossroads requires all dogs in the home to be spay/neutered?

Are you familiar with all animal control laws in your area, including licensing?

I have read the above information carefully and have filled out this application honestly. I understand that omission of information and/or failure to answer all questions and sign the application can result in this application being declined. Also, if an omission or untruth is discovered after an adoption takes place, I understand that Crossroads Dog Rescue reserves the right to annul the adoption and reclaim the animal. I give the Rescue permission to fully investigate the information provided as well as contact veterinarians and related officials.

In addition, I understand the adoption decision is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to the compatibility of the family and home to the individual animal, and other applications received on this animal. I understand it is the Crossroads' prerogative to decide which home is most appropriate and that their decision is final, and therefore I will not argue with the decision. Unless otherwise indicated by Crossroads Dog Rescue, I am free to apply and undergo the application process in the future.
